A Russia-focused trade group has operated in the Russian market for years, with warehousing and distribution around Moscow covering 30+ major cities nationwide. The group provides dozens of Chinese factories and brands with an integrated "trunk line + last mile" service, and Kaguo is its trunk logistics partner on the China side.

Background

On the China side, the group's supply comes from factories in different cities with varying volumes per factory — loose cargo must be consolidated for unified dispatch. On the Russian side, coverage is wide, and cargo must fan out after the trunk arrives. The group needed a China-side partner that can "collect from many cities, one waybill all the way".

What we do

Kaguo receives factory cargo through the five pickup points, consolidates and books space together, then dispatches per the group's plan (air for fast goods, rail for bulk). After arrival in Moscow, the group's warehouse network takes over distribution. Both sides share waybill data — Kaguo's milestones sync directly into the group's system.

Results

Since the cooperation began, the group ships 200+ tonnes through Kaguo monthly; consolidated booking across cities cut its trunk cost about 10%; trunk arrival punctuality is 98%, and the gap between its Moscow and regional warehouses shrank noticeably. With the five pickup points, the group's collection radius for new clients expanded significantly.

Working mechanism

Both sides run a joint dispatch group with daily transit updates and weekly reconciliation. The group's feedback: Kaguo's milestone transparency and response speed are "the least worrying part" of the cross-border chain.
