Background

Cross-border trade ties up capital for long periods: payments from buyers come back slowly while freight must be paid upfront, squeezing growing traders from both ends. Monthly settlement thresholds are high, and small and medium clients rarely get payment terms directly from logistics providers — financial tools are needed.

What we do

The two sides jointly launched "Monthly Settlement+": Kaguo monthly clients can apply to extend freight payment terms based on credit assessment, up to 45 days; clients with large shipments can also apply for dedicated advances, with limits based on the past six months of shipping records. The finance company provides the funding, Kaguo verifies shipping data, and both sides complete the risk review together.

Results

Since launch, 20+ Kaguo clients have received freight terms or advances, with cumulative credit lines above RMB 5 million; average client payment terms extended from 7 to 30+ days, noticeably easing peak-season stocking pressure. The partner's risk approval stays stable with non-performing loans below 1%.

Working mechanism

Client materials are reviewed once and shared by both parties; funding is applied for and disbursed online, reaching accounts in as fast as one business day. The fee structure is transparent with no hidden charges.
